The final JB Sharp Regatta for 2017 was held today, hosted by LRC. While the conditions initially looked doubtful, all races were able to be rum in reasonably fair conditions.

The series has proved to be very popular with huge fields in the handicap and U16 events. There were 30+ entries in the men;s handicap scull at the DRC regatta.

DRC faired very well and won a lot of races over the series including many of the novice women's races resulting in DRC winning the Lee Insurance Brokers Trophy for topping the Novice Women's pointscore.

Lizzie Moshirian was awarded the beginner rower of the series after some great performances in the single scull. Lizzie has been rowing a relatively short while so has done great things in the series.

Congratulations to all our members who competed, organised and generally helped out, helping to make this series as good as it was.
