Taree and district local newspaper the Manning River Times covered the Mixed Eight 'dash for cash' at the Taree Regatta on Saturday where Drummoyne fielded a crew that included life member Graeme Wearne and the club's newest member Janine Donovan.  

Chaos at the start (you try getting 17 boats to line up evenly on a tidal river and start on handicap) and a tangle half way down the course with Newcastle put us behind, losing around 5 seconds but DRC still finished strongly in a field that stretched across the Manning River. Great Fun!
